Terms of Use

These terms apply to everyone who visits or uses tickerandtape.com (the "Site"), including the charts, screeners, trade ideas, earnings calendar, accounts and the weekly newsletter. By using the Site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Not investment advice. Ticker&Tape is a charting and research tool. Nothing on the Site or in the newsletter is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, or financial, legal or tax advice. Ratings, bases, pivots, buy zones, stops and trade ideas are produced automatically by software and can be wrong. You alone decide what to trade and you carry all the risk. Trading stocks can lose you money, including more than you expect when prices gap.

1. The service

The Site shows market data, charts and indicators calculated from public market data. It is offered free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We can change, pause or remove any feature at any time, without notice.

2. Market data

Prices, fundamentals, estimates and earnings dates come from third-party sources (currently Yahoo Finance and Nasdaq) and may be delayed (intraday prices about 15 minutes), incomplete or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any data. Always confirm prices with your broker before trading.

3. Your account

You may create a free account with an email address and a password to save your watchlist, chart settings and drawings. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or abuse the Site. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to contacto@tickerandtape.com.

4. Acceptable use

Do not: scrape, crawl or download the Site's data, pages or files in bulk or with automated tools, or resell or republish them; copy, mirror, frame or reproduce the Site or a substantial part of it; copy, decompile or reverse engineer the Site's code, or build a competing product or service from it or from its data; try to break, overload or get around the Site's security; access other people's accounts; or use the Site for anything illegal. Personal use, and sharing individual charts or links (for example on X), is welcome.

5. Newsletter

The weekly email is sent only after you confirm your subscription. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's design, source code, software, text, graphics, name, logo and the ratings, indicators, scans and statistics we calculate (including the RS Rating, Composite Rating, base and pivot detection, trade ideas and breakout statistics) are the property of Gonzalo Sanchez Lachowicz (Ticker&Tape) and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved: no license is granted except the personal use described in these terms. Market data belongs to its providers. Company names and tickers belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

7. Copyright complaints and copies of the Site

If you believe a website, app or repository copies Ticker&Tape, or that something on the Site infringes your rights, write to contacto@tickerandtape.com with the address of the material and your contact details. We act on unauthorized copies of the Site, including notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to the services that host them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ticker&Tape is not liable for any loss or damage, including trading losses, lost profits or data loss, arising from your use of the Site, the data, the newsletter or any trade idea, or from the Site being unavailable. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your law permits.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; using the Site after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Law and contact
